    Private Hospital Specialist – London and South East

    Pharmexx have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospital sales specialist to join one of our blue chip, top pharmaceutical clients. This role will allow you to apply your knowledge and expertise of selling into the private market, whilst understanding and expanding potential stakeholder opportunities. The successful candidates will therefore require not only excellent negotiation and influencing skills but must have the ability to map the local environment, prioritise business accounts and sell to these opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Effectively utilise all available resources to sell and promote products and enhance service provided to customers.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the emerging multi-stakeholder environment, develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of customer needs.
    • Develop deep customer and environmental knowledge to help shape the customer planning process for future reimbursed launch.
    • Produce specific account growth plans detailing actions and resources.
    • Identification and Development of relationships with key thought leaders, consultants, pharmacists, and other relevant decision makers to create the optimal environment for brand success. Key target group to include but not exclusive to dermatologists and hair specialists.
    • Maximise awareness and uptake of product in appropriate specialist centres
    • Work collaboratively with support functions to determine which resources best fit the customer and/or circumstances.
    • Responsible for implementing agreed actions in account plan to maximise advocacy and patient access to promoted products.
    • Analyse and interpret clinical and sales data for therapy area.
    • Proactively use the requisite business planning tools and ensure CRM information is accurate, complete and current.

    Essential Skills
    • Evidenced sales results.
    • Knowledge and experience of private market and Out of Pocket environment.
    • Experience working with products in specialist environments prior to the product gaining NHS reimbursement
    • High value interactions with customers with proven results in secondary care.
    • Established and evidenced influencing networks.
    • Market Access – Influencing environment.
    • Understands both the National and local NHS environment and their impact (e.g. patient and financial flows) on each other and local prescribing.
    • Aptitude to develop high level of product, competitor and therapy area knowledge.
